This is a commission piece completed for a family who lost their father suddenly to cancer.  At the funeral a dove was released by his three young children.  The piece was to symbolize the unity of the children in releasing their father in spirit.

Meltemi, Turkish name of the wind that blows off of the Agean Sea during the hot summer days. When this wind blows it is considered a blessing to those who experience it. Meltemi is a kenetic piece that pivots and tilts at its midsection in a stong wind.
